We are excited to announce that Dr. Sidney Mugford has joined our practice as of Monday August 21, and we can’t wait to introduce you to her at your next appointment.
Dr. Sidney Mugford is a Nova Scotia native who grew up on Cape Breton Island. She attended Cape Breton University where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Mugford then went on to Dalhousie University where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She practiced general dentistry for three years before returning to school to pursue her Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics at the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Mugford is excited to be returning to Nova Scotia, to be closer to family and friends, and the ocean! In her spare time, she likes getting out for a ride on her bike, trying out a new recipe or restaurant, and traveling to new places. She especially enjoys reading, so if you need a suggestion or have any favourite books to pass along let her know!
